Booking words, each one explained simply

• Outcall

  Outcall means the therapist travels to your hotel room or your apartment. You do not go anywhere, and there is no studio to visit.

• Overnight

  The overnight is a fixed booking of eight hours, at one price. One guest with one therapist pays 1,250 euros for the whole block.

• Arrival Window

  The arrival window is the stretch of time in which she reaches your door. In central Amsterdam, it is forty to sixty minutes after your booking is confirmed.

• Deposit

  A deposit is half of the price, paid before she sets out. It is not an extra charge. The other half, the balance, is paid when she arrives.

• Balance

  The balance is the part of the price still to be paid when she arrives. With a deposit, it is the second half. Without a deposit, it is the whole price.

• Cancellation and Refunds

  What a cancel costs depends only on the notice you give. More than a day ahead, the whole deposit comes back. Once she has left, it is kept.

• False Bookings

  A false booking is made under a name that is not your own, from someone else's number, as a joke, or is one of these followed by a no-show.

• Twenty-One or Over

  Every guest, every therapist and anyone else in the room must be twenty-one or over. At the door she may want to see an ID with your photo on it.

• Confirmation

  A confirmation is the point where you and the house agree to one and the same booking. Before it, nothing is held. After it, the hour is yours.

• On Her Way

  On her way means she has left her starting point and is now travelling to you. From this point, a cancel costs more than it did before.

• Notice

  Notice is the warning time you give: the hours between your message and the booked hour. More than twenty-four hours of notice means a cancel costs nothing.

• Booking Thread

  The booking thread is the written conversation where your booking is made: your message, the reply, your yes and any change after it.

• Twenty-Four Hour Clock

  The twenty-four hour clock counts the hours of the day from 00:00 to 23:59, so every hour has its own number and there is no am or pm.

• Floor Marks

  A floor mark after an Amsterdam house number, such as 2-III, says which floor the home is on. III means three flights of stairs above the street.

• Thousands Separator

  A thousands separator is the mark that splits a large number into groups of three digits. This site uses a comma: 1,250. Dutch shops use a point: 1.250.

• Her Limits

  Her limits are what the therapist includes in a session and what she does not. She says them before it starts, and they stay the same for the whole visit.
