Contact Plain Words Massage

Every contact here is written, never spoken. Writing is easier than a call when English is not your first language, because you can read it twice, translate it and check it before you send it.

A written message also stays in the thread. The hour, the address and the price are there for both sides to read again later. That is the main reason the house never takes bookings by voice.

What to put in your first message

  • The address: the hotel or the street and house number, and the room number when you have it.
  • The day and the hour, in Amsterdam time, on the twenty-four hour clock.
  • The length: one hour, ninety minutes, two hours, three hours, or the overnight.
  • A name from the profiles, if you have chosen one.
  • One guest or two, and one therapist or two.

You do not need greetings, and you do not need full sentences. A list of five short lines is a perfect first message. The page with a booking message to copy has one ready for you.

If you are not sure you understood the reply

Ask again. Write "please say it more simply", or write the question in your own language and let the reply come back in English. Nobody in the thread will think this is strange. A second question now is much better than a wrong hour later.

If you use a translation app, the page on booking with a translation app shows what to check before you send.

What the thread cannot help with

It cannot change your hotel room, and it cannot tell you the rules of your building. It will not contact anybody for you. It answers questions about therapists, techniques, times, length and payment.

For anything that needs a formal record, such as a complaint or a question about your personal data, write an e-mail to contact@amsterdam-massage.com.
